No need to dress up! We look forward to seeing you in this relaxed and casual setting to enjoy an ale from Cecil’s own brewery and pick up your registration package.

The North Bay Museum is in the former CP Station right in the centre of downtown North Bay. Dr. Rod Johnston was an integral part of the restoration of the CP Station and having the Museum located here, as the hub of North Bay. The current exhibit is our first stop on our travel back in time with a look back at “Main Street North Bay” from the 1920’s – 1940’s.

An escape room is a fun group activity that can be done with friends, family or coworkers and enjoyed by people of all ages. The object of the game is to work together to decrypt, decipher, unscramble, uncover, search and solve all the puzzles in the room before the time runs out. Each room has a different theme and a completely different set of puzzles.

North Bay Escape Rooms can accommodate up to 25 participants for each of the two scheduled sessions. The session begins at approximately 10:00am. At the conclusion of your adventure, approximately 11am, the shuttle will be waiting to return you to the hotel.

COST: $30.00 per person
Includes transportation and lunch at Osprey Links

A buffet lunch will be provided at Osprey Links Golf Club, between 1:30pm and 3:30pm to accommodate the golfers and those arriving from other adventures. For those not golfing a shuttle is available to take you to the club house from the Best Western at 1:30pm.  Lunch at Osprey is included with registration.

TIME: 8:45am – 1:00pm

Shuttle leaves Best Western promptly at 8:45am

LOCATION: Lake Talon and Pine Lake

PLAN A (favorable weather conditions)
Participants will paddle the north end of Lake Talon and portage (450 paces) onto Pine Lake. The adventure will end at Dr. Latour’s residence where a light snack and water will be provided.
The shuttle will leave Dr. Latour’s at 1:00pm to drop off at Osprey Links Golf Club where a buffet lunch will be served from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

PLAN B (unfavorable weather conditions)
Participants will be taken directly to Dr. Latour’s residence where they will paddle on Pine Lake only pending weather conditions.

COST: $45 per person
Includes transportation; canoe and lifejacket rentals; water; light snacks; and lunch at Osprey Links

TIME: 9:00am shotgun start
Shuttles will leave the Best Western at 8:00am and 8:15am

LOCATION: Osprey Links

Participants will arrive at the beautiful 18-hole course with plenty of time to get ready and make their way to their assigned location on the course. For those needing carts, there will be 40 power carts available.

Beginning at 11:00am participants can enjoy a barbecued hamburger and a drink from the clubhouse snack bar window to carry them through the next nine holes.

At 1:00pm those who did not golf will begin to arrive for lunch. A buffet lunch will be served in the clubhouse beginning at 1:30.

COST: $80.00 per person
Includes green fees; cart rental; snack (hamburger and drink); and buffet lunch.

Appropriate golf attire is required. Osprey Links dress code will be enforced. Carry-on alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

BOOTS AND HATS

Put on your western boots and 10-gallon hats and get ready for a gun-slinging good time! We’ll travel back to the era of saloons, showdowns, sheriffs… and rodeos!

Jump back in time to the late 1800’s when the west was wild, and rodeos were becoming a popular pastime. Popular characters from that era were Annie Oakley, Buffalo Bill and Jesse James. Sheriffs made the rules and outlaws rode the rails. Dress up in ‘western’ attire or as a character from that time. Whatever makes you feel like bull riding!

**Note: There is no dinner provided Friday night. There is a late lunch and then appetizers during Wild, Wild, West.

The 80’s was rad with unique fashions so you can go all out for 80’s prom style, channel your favourite 80’s idol or make your own 80’s fashion statement.

There will be a photo booth for “prom pictures”, and spot dances. You won’t want to miss this moment in time. Don’t forget your hairspray!
